I first found out about this project via the designworklife blog, and I already tweeted about it, but I keep coming back to these logos as visual references for other projects, so I figured it is worth blogging about. Most of the entries on this blog of mine have to do with my own personal work/process/etc, but every now and then I like to post about a designer or studio that inspires/influences me. Being such an avid outdoors person, I find these simplified stamp-logos to be pure awesome. They are part of an app for National Geographic that serves as an interactive guide to the U.S. National Parks. They were designed by Valerie Jar, whose online portfolio is really nice and worth a glance if you have some time during your blog-browsing sesh.
